movin down south

LAST FEW WEEKS IN JAPAN AND NOW HOME

well im finally back in the USA. the last few weeks in japan were really packed, meeting people i haven't seen in awhile and meeting people ive seen.. well basically seeing the people i care about then coming home. Jim came and i met him up in osaka, and we travelled around western honshu for about 10 days. it was a lot of fun, but really hot and and pretty tiring. after 10 days i was pretty pooped from travelling anyway. right after, i took a bullet train to my friend's wedding in shizuoka, saw two more people, then went home. my last two months in japan i stayed with my indonesian friends i met at BSF, Suparman (yes u read it right) and Cynthia Kusuma. they are extremely hospitable, and by the grace of God, i stayed there FREE! u read it. free rent, free food, everything. their house is huge, by japnaese standards. two story, 4 rooms, three bath. trust me, for japan its like a mansion.

well anyway to make a long story short, im back home, and now im going to try and apply to grad school. if i make it into pepperdine, then i'll be gone in january. if not, then i have to wait for next fall to enter. that means i gotta apply into a ton of schools and spend a ton of money. in any case, email me your contact information because i dont have any of it. you can email me at leer928@yahoo.com. thanks!

the mighty miracles of God

i have a story. maybe small to you but for me its nuts. anyway as some of you may or may not know, i have moved into my friend's house, who so graciously is letting me live here for free for two months w/o having to pay rent. so in the course of that, i had to move all my stuff. half of the stuff i already threw away but i still had a lot of junk.. well a lot can cumulate over 4 years. in any case over the move, i couldn't find my camera. if any of you know, i have already had (i believe) 3 cameras stolen. twice in japan, once in Hong kong. so much for safety! iehter that or it was careless ness. so when i couldn't find my camera here.. I STARTED to get reaaaaally mad and flustered. but i let it alone, and prayed to God that i could find it. in any case, i searched my luggages through and through, could not find it, even emptied out one suitcase.

well today i am taking a trip to northern japan. its the first time i'd actually want to take pictures since i moved here. as i was getting ready to pack, i opened up the suitcase. guess what i found. you got it, the camera. i IMMEDIATELY got down on my knees and thanked God for this miracle. why? because it wasn't there the last few times i looked. and i've pretty much looked through every corner and spot for it. man God seriously just put it there the last minute because i needed to wait till then. i needed to trust God. i know actually i did something bad before (i wont mention it) so thats why God probably took it away for a bit. but seriously u guys, i twas not there the last time i looked and the last time and the last time. and just when i really needed it, God put it there. call it what u want. i call it a miracle. seriously cool man, thank you God.
